Reorder Tabs

Changes the order an entity's tabs appear in — site-wide, for every user, not a personal preference. Applies to any of the 11 entities that have their own tab set.

Go to Site Settings → Tab Order

Side menu → Site Admin → Site Settings → the Tab Order tab.

Pick the entity

Choose which entity's tabs you want to reorder from the dropdown:

Drag to reorder, or use the arrow buttons

The list shows that entity's tabs in their current order. Drag an item to a new position, or select one and use the Move Up / Move Down toolbar buttons.

Worth knowing: the very first tab in the list (the record's own base edit form) is locked in place — you can't drag it or move it, on any entity. Site Settings is the one exception: it has no locked first tab, since it isn't a single-record form the way the other entities are — every tab there, including Site Info itself, can be freely reordered.

Save

Click Save. The new order applies immediately, site-wide, for every user — this isn't a personal/per-user setting.
