Service Requests

Work orders for warranty visits, maintenance, inspections, and repairs — from first call to scheduled visit to invoice, including recurring service contracts.

1

Log a request

Side menu → Project Management → Service Requests → new request. Give it a Title and Type — picking a Type (Emergency Repair, Maintenance, Inspection, Punch List, etc.) suggests a sensible Priority automatically, which you can always override.

2

Link it to a Project (optional)

Linking a Project pulls in its address for a one-click "Get Directions" link, and unlocks picking a Checklist or Asset/Equipment record scoped to that project.

Changing the linked Project clears any Checklist/Asset already selected, since those are scoped to whichever project was picked.
3

Schedule, track time, attach photos

Set Response Due, Scheduled Start/End, and Actual Start/Completed as the job moves along — an overdue Response Due shows in red. Log technician hours in the Time Entries tab and attach before/after photos in the Attachments tab.

4

Recurring service contracts

For a Project on a recurring schedule, set a cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.) and click Make Recurring Service Contract. From then on, Generate Next Visit clones the request forward by that interval — no retyping the details each time.

5

Bill it

Check Billable on a request tied to a Project and a Generate Invoice button appears — one click turns the request into a real invoice, shown inline once created.
