Expenses

Log an expense, attach the receipt, tag it to a Project as billable or not, and track reimbursement — all from one form.

1

Log a new expense

Side menu → Staff → ExpensesNew Expense. Set who it was submitted by, the Project it applies to (if any), Transaction Date, Amount, Category, and how it was paid. Check Billable to client if it should be passed through on the project's invoice.

2

Attach the receipt

Saving a brand-new expense opens the Receipts dialog automatically so you can attach a photo or file right away — up to 20 files at once, 20 MB each. Editing an existing expense just closes normally; open Receipts from the row's button any time.

3

Track reimbursement

Set Status as it moves through your process, then fill in Reimbursement Payment Method, Reimbursed Date, and a reference (check #, Venmo note, whatever fits) once it's actually paid back.

Status and reimbursement are plain fields on the same form — there's no separate locked approval step like Timesheets has, so whoever has access to this page can change any expense's status directly.
